Once upon a time, there lived Gilbert and Sharm, happily navigating through life in their own respective circles. One day, their circles of life intersected, and it was good. Gilbert had just moved to Singapore then for work, while Sharm was based in Manila. In what was anticipated by both to be an LDR, quickly transitioned from an ECQ, MECQ, GCQ, MGCQ, to “I’m not sure when will I ever see you”, to total lockdown. To make the long story short, their budding LDR not only survived but thrived through a pandemic. In order to narrow down the 2,394 km distance between Manila and Singapore, Gilbert would often visit Sharm, and vice versa. Their LDR blossomed, despite the obvious distance between them and the challenges brought about by life. Fast track 4 years into their LDR, Gilbert moved back to Manila, making Sharm the happiest person alive. Gilbert proposed and Sharm gladly accepted. So now, it’s time to Par-Te!
