We don’t have any hotel blocks reserved, but our top recommendation is the Hilton Garden Inn Surprise Phoenix. When you check in, let them know you’re in town for a wedding—they’ll apply a 20% discount to your stay (no need to prove which wedding!). As backup choices, you might also consider the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Surprise by IHG and the Residence Inn Phoenix NW/Surprise. Both are within walking distance of the Hilton Garden Inn. For your convenience, we’ll be arranging transportation from the Hilton Garden Inn to the wedding venue. If you're staying at one of the nearby hotels, you’ll still be just a short walk from the shuttle pickup point.
We’ll be arranging transportation from the Hilton Garden Inn Surprise Phoenix to The Willow, so if you’re staying there (or nearby), you’ll have an easy and stress-free ride to the wedding. If you prefer to Uber or Lyft, that’s also an option—but please note that the venue can be a little tricky to find. Here are directions provided by The Willow to help: As you're coming north down 163rd Avenue nearing the venue, you'll cross over the canal. Shortly after, you’ll see flags on the right marking the turn onto the private road that leads to the venue. Follow that road down to the parking lot. Important note: If you're using Google Maps, it may tell you to continue down 163rd and turn on 159th. Avoid this route—the road is much bumpier. Just keep an eye out for the flags!
Yes! We’ve arranged shuttle transportation from the Hilton Garden Inn to the venue for your convenience. The shuttle will begin loading at 2:15 PM and will depart promptly at 2:30 PM, so please be on time! For the return trip back to the hotel, guests will have two departure options: 1) The first shuttle will leave the venue at 9:00 PM 2) The second shuttle will depart after the wedding concludes around 10:00 PM
Please try to arrive by 3:15 PM if possible, as the ceremony will begin promptly at 3:30 PM.
We’re so excited to celebrate with our closest friends and family! Due to venue capacity and our desire to keep the celebration intimate, plus-ones are limited to those explicitly named on your invitation.
Yes! The dress code is cocktail attire.
The wedding will be mostly outdoors in the Arizona desert, so come ready to enjoy the beautiful scenery! In December, the weather typically reaches around 66°F during the day, and can drop to the high 40s to low 50s in the evening. We’ll have heaters throughout the space, but we recommend bringing a jacket to stay comfortable once the sun goes down.
Yes! We’re planning a welcome party on Friday evening that’s open to all our guests. We’ll be sharing more details soon, stay tuned!
We are registered through Zola, which you can find right here on our wedding website. Also, please kindly avoid bringing any large gifts to the wedding, as we’ll be flying straight from Arizona to Costa Rica for our honeymoon and want to travel light.
