We're getting married in beautiful San Miguel de Allende!

Gil and Angela shared their first date on October 22, 2021. Gil had moved to Austin 3 weeks before and knew he was searching for his partner. He decided to get on hinge and was immediately drawn to Angela's dating profile - her humor, adventurous spirit, world-class wit were apparent so he struck up a conversation and planned a date. A few days later they got together at Cosmic Beer and Coffee, and had so much fun that they decided to keep the night going at a different bar with their combined group of friends + Angela's roommate. Later, as Gil walked Angela and her roommate home, her roommate unexpectedly wandered off, and the two spent several hours looking for her until the wee hours of the morning. The next day (after tracking her down), Gil knew Angela was special and wanted to see her again, and immediately asked for a second date. This started off a legendary run of dates in and around Austin culminating in the couple falling in love and deciding to spend their life together. Gil and Angela share a love of travel, new restaurants, music, and the arts, and are both inspired and elated to share a life and build a family together.
