They first met when Gianna was introduced to Avalon, a social deception game, during lunchtime on her first day at Atlassian in 2019. Apparently, Nick is really good at it and Gianna is bad at lying. Covid happened and they started hanging out virtually, which progressed to making sushi together on Sundays and visiting Nick's favorite gluten-free bakery. By the time the world had healed enough to venture out safely, they were taking trips to Monterey and even Australia in 2023. One thing led to another and they moved in together in Nick's apartment in 2024 before taking the plunge and buying a house together in October. Finally, Nick proposed after playing Pico Park and making Gianna her favorite dessert (creme brulee), leading to you reading this.
