You can fly to Heathrow Airport or Gatwick Airport in London; Manchester, England; or Cardiff, Wales. We recommend renting a car and get a vehicle with automatic transmission: driving on the left is challenging enough without having to shift with your left hand as well!
If you want to enjoy the pre-wedding day activities on Monday the 29th, then we recommend you arrive on Sunday the 28th.
There are a limited number of rooms available. Once we know how many family members will be coming, we will have a better idea of how many rooms we can offer up. We suggest you reserve a hotel or Airbnb in Hereford or the surrounding areas.
We are having a welcome breakfast at the estate, tea, coffee, pastries etc. will be provided. Then for the rest of the day you are welcome to explore the area. We will reconvene at 5:00 for a casual dinner, and a fun time afterwards with plenty of dancing, everyone is invited.
No. There are however 3 kitchens at the estate for your use, whether you are staying there or not, so you are welcome to bring any food or beverage items. There are also restaurants in Hereford, and the Bell Inn at Tillington is close by which is more than just a pub and has an excellent reputation for friendly people and great food. They keep their own pigs and make their own cider. The Herefordshire Golf Club is about 2.5 miles away set in the most stunning location with glorious views from every window of their restaurant which looks out across the golf course. Sunday lunch is traditional and excellent value but they are open 7 days a week and up to 11.00 every night and have a snack menu to choose from . The views really are fantastic and its worth going just for a drink if you don’t want to eat there.
