Save the Date

I never thought ferry-tales can he real. We are both from the same city (Tarkwa) but didnt know each other (my version lol). During my early days in Wuhan, China, i first heard of her from a mutual school friend. I got curious to know who this lady is. I used to ask this mutual friend at the time, where is this lady he mentioned. The courier never delivered these answers. I remember i used to roam Huazhong University campus after church with the hopes of crossing path with her. Unakin to my nature i did attend Ghanaian parties and events with the hopes of finally getting to meet her. Yet it never happened. Fast forward, a school friend was visiting the town. I got the call he was visiting on Christmas day so i should link up. A bird whispered she could be around. I hurriedly dressed up. Destiny smiled on me when i finally got to see this “Ellen” girl. Instantly we connected as if we knew each other for years. She comfortably crossed her arms with mine and leaned over. I sarcastically said you are hard to find. Unknown to me she was also asking around for me but no one was willing to connect us. Kudus to Daniel Essilfie, Asamoah Boakye, Paa Kwesi Yankson for that invite, lol. We became best of friends since that 25th December. We have faced life together, guiding, protecting and caring for each other all this while. I am excited to many episodes of this next phase of our story.
