We're getting married!

We met in 2018 during the first weeks of our freshman year at Bluffton University. Julia held the door open for Nick as she was leaving her friend's dorm, and he happened to notice her soccer bag. Naturally, Nick did what any modern-day college student would do - he looked her up on the soccer roster. After chatting on Snapchat for a bit, fate (and the need for some random essentials) brought us together for our first "date"... at the dollar store. Julia skipped the usual "hello" and instead immediately greeted Nick with "What do you call a golf match?" To make things even more memorable, the cashier gave Nick a hard time for not buying Julia's cotton balls. Awkward? Definitely. But also kind of perfect. From there, our story unfolded through countless late-night Taco Bell and Waffle House runs, endless laughs, and (after graduation) many weekends spent driving a couple hours just to see each other. Today, we're lucky enough to call the same place home - along with our two dogs, Riot and Willow, and we couldn't be more excited to start this next chapter together.
