Things To Do

These are some of our favorite and frequent spots across SLO county. For more personalized recommendations, please reach to Grace or Michael.

Mission San Luis Obispo de Tolosa

751 Palm Street, San Luis Obispo, CA 93401

Did you know Michael is the lead bell ringer here and a leading authority on Mission Bells in the state? Did you know we met while we were both working here 10 years ago? Check out this piece of California and couple's history!

Madonna Inn

100 Madonna Road, San Luis Obispo, CA 93405

Visit one of the most iconic properties in San Luis Obispo county! It's a feast for the eyes and a great place to pick up a uniquely campy souvenir. You can grab a towering slice of cake and a coffee at the bakery, but if you don't have this is your itinerary, don't worry: you'll be treated to the world-class Pink Champagne Cake at the wedding reception!

Hearst Castle

750 Hearst Castle Road, San Simeon, CA 93452

A fantastic history museum in a castle on a hill overlooking the ocean! A little out of the way on the North Coast, but absolutely worth it if you have the time. Our first Thanksgiving together, we watched the Newsies for the newspaper background, and then took the "Designing the Dream" tour here (and then went Instagram official).

Montaña de Oro State Park

3550 Pecho Valley Road, Los Osos, CA 93402

Take an easy, scenic hike over the ocean bluffs. Unless you want to go down to the tide-pools. Then take a moderate, but still incredibly scenic, hike down the ocean bluffs.

Malibu Brew Coffee

5955 East Mall, Atascadero, CA 93422

Easily our favorite coffee shop. Excellent options for coffee lovers and coffee haters alike. Our top recommendations are: Caffe Latte, Mexican Mocha, Polar Espresso, and Vanilla Chai Latte
