We met on our very first day of college, in our first class. We sat right next to each other but never spoke until a few weeks later when a mutal friend brought Brycen to game night! The next morning, we found out our class was cancelled so we went to get breakfast together instead. After that, we became best friends and the rest is history!

We were planning a trip with some friends to go to North Carolina, and on the day we planned to leave, Brycen surprised me by telling me to repack my suitcase because we were going to Disney World instead! On the second day of our trip, Brycen told me we had a secret reservation at a restaurant in Magic Kingdom, but he wouldn’t tell me where. When it was finally time for our reservation, he led me inside the castle to Cinderella’s Royal Table! Throughout our meal, I was still reeling from the surprise, but I had no idea the best part was coming next. When it was time for dessert, a waiter came from behind me to place a glass slipper on a royal pillow in front of me. When I turned to look at Brycen, he was no longer across the table from me, but on one knee beside me. He asked me if I would marry him and after a lot of happy crying, I finally said YES!
