Wayne and Nicole have known each other since those ugly, awkward, middle school years. Throughout high school, they continued to run with the same crowd. Wayne was always the life of the party and Nicole was fascinated by his charm and charisma. After years of flirtatious comments, "soirees" (as their high school buddies liked to call their underage parties), and Nicole deciding Wayne was going to be her next boyfriend-it became time for Wayne to leave for college. Having realized he was potentially the love of her life (just like every coming of age movie with a friends to lovers trope), Nicole decided to plant a very unexpected kiss on Wayne in the University 16 parking lot--way past her curfew. Wayne left for college the next day and Nicole wasn't sure if she'd see him again. That is, until he came home to see her the very next weekend. The rest, as they say, is history. Wayne went on to ask Nicole to be his girlfriend after a Georgia football game on September 10th, 2016. Seven years later, on September 10th, 2023, he asked her to be his wife. With Wayne down on one knee, and "Will You Marry Me Nicole?" written in lights on the Georgia Theater marquee, she gave the answer she had already known seven years earlier. Senior proms, some world travel, a couple degrees, 2 Harry Styles concerts, a successful business and 4 fur babies later-- Wayne and Nicole have grown up together and have loved each new version of each other over the last seven years. We are so excited to celebrate with our closest friends and family and start the rest of our life together!
