Roche Harbor Resort

Hotel rooms, condos, and houses are available to rent on the resort. Please call to book through our room block. It is recommended to book to arrive August 8, 2021 (the day before the wedding). Reservations must be made over the phone directly with the resort.

There are Airbnbs available in the area around Roche Harbor if you prefer that option! Uber/ Lyft is not available on the island, but there would be taxi companies you could call for a ride into the resort area.

Flight

SeaTac Airport

Fly into SeaTac airport where you can rent a car, take an Uber or the Light Rail to Seattle, or take the shuttle all the way up to Anacortes Ferry Terminal.

Travel Note

Arrival/ Departure Transportation

You may rent a car to drive from Seattle to Anacortes (1.5hr drive) and park at the ferry terminal, walk onto the ferry, and take a 20min shuttle or taxi ride to the resort. Another option is to drive your car onto the ferry to take it onto the island. There is free parking at the resort.

Ferry Information

You will need to take the Washington State Ferry from Anacortes to Friday Harbor. A reservation should be made in advanced if you plan on driving your car on, but you can park at the Anacortes Ferry terminal, walk on the ferry, and take a short cab ride to the resort from Friday Harbor. NOTE: Summer ferry reservations fill up quickly so book ASAP and you will have to arrive about 1 hour early to the ferry with your car. You can also book a walk on ferry from downtown Seattle to Friday Harbor (3hr and 45min and take a taxi across to Roche Harbor (20min). https://www.clippervacations.com/seattle-san-juan-island-ferry/

There is a shuttle available, Bellair Shuttle, for people who wish to skip the car rental and take the shuttle from the airport to the ferry terminal. www.airporter.com

Flight

Flight from Seattle to Roche Harbor

If you'd rather see the island views from above, several companies offer regularly scheduled flights from Seattle to Friday Harbor or Roche Harbor on San Juan Island. Kenmore Air flies regularly scheduled services directly to the resort via SeaPlane from South Lake Union. San Juan Airlines flies from Anacortes to Roche Harbor airfield, as does NW Sky Ferry.
