We are having an "unplugged" ceremony. This means that we kindly ask that all phones and devices be put away and on silent/turned off during the ceremony. Why? Well, we've hired a professional to capture some of the most important moments and we'd hate to have a well-meaning person's phone/device blocking that moment for them to capture. After the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos as you would like! All professional photos from our ceremony will be uploaded to the "Photos" page on the website once received.
Yes, we encourage guests to post pictures from our reception on to their social media channels, our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #gibbonmehislastname so we can keep track of all of your pictures! Please be advised that photos may be taken on personal devices during the reception ONLY in order to keep our ceremony "unplugged".
