Whitewater Center
The U.S. National Whitewater Center is Charlotte’s hub for outdoor adventure, featuring whitewater rafting, zip lines, rock climbing, and miles of scenic trails. It also hosts River Jam, an outdoor concert series with no entry fee, Thursday-Saturday nights in the summer.
Webb Custom Kitchen
This historic movie theater was converted into a restaurant with amazing food and drinks. Old movies play on original film reel while you eat. This is one of our favorite date spots!
Nellie's Southern Kitchen
Owned by the family of the Jonas Brothers, Nellie's serves Southern comfort food and usually has live music! It is next door to the welcome party venue.
NoDa
NoDa (short for North Davidson) is Charlotte’s arts and entertainment district, and is the go-to spot for live music and creative energy. We like Haberdish for dinner, and Heist & Birdsong Breweries for drinks!
South End
South End is a young and growing neighborhood known for its walkable vibe. We like Salted Melon and Superica for dinner, and Monday Night Brewing and Town Brewing for drinks!
Plaza Midwood
Plaza Midwood has a fun, vintage, eclectic feel with a mix of old-school Charlotte charm and trendy spots. We like Calle Sol, Catalina Kitchen & Bar, and Rosemont for dinner and drinks!
