It all began on the first day of college at St. John's University, where fate brought us together in the Catholic Scholars program. Little did we know, that chance encounter would blossom into a beautiful journey of almost seven years (and counting). Our friendship strengthened through late-night food dates, spontaneous adventures, and countless memories shared together. We started dating during our sophomore year, and over the years, we've supported each other through undergraduate and graduate school, and while starting out each of our careers. Our love story is one of growth, friendship, and the unwavering support that has brought us to this moment. The proposal was a day we will never forget. He planned a city date for us, taking me to explore Roosevelt Island, followed by a beautiful lunch overlooking Central Park. I truly suspected nothing of his plans, because of how thoughtful he has always been. As the day unfolded, he suggested we grab drinks at a hotel rooftop where we had stayed years prior. Unbeknownst to me, he had a surprise waiting. He led me into a private proposal setup in a stunning hotel room overlooking Manhattan, beautifully arranged with the help of our friends. The moment was made even more special as our friends and family were waiting on the rooftop to celebrate with us. As we've embarked on the journey of wedding planning, we've found joy in every detail. From choosing the perfect venue to selecting the music that will fill our special day, each moment has been a celebration of our love and commitment to each other. We've laughed, we've danced, and we've cherished every moment of this process together. Every step has been filled with excitement and anticipation. We've had so much fun bringing our vision to life and can't wait to see it all come together on our wedding day.
