Travel Note
Taking the Ferry from Naples to Capri: Ferries to Capri run frequently throughout the day, though schedules can vary by season. To ensure you have a smooth trip, we recommend booking your tickets in advance. We suggest taking the Molo Beverello ferry. You can easily book your tickets through any of the following websites: Directferries.com Capri.com Ferryhopper.com
Travel Note
When you arrive at Capri’s Marina Grande port, taxis are available to take you up to the Piazzetta (roughly €20). This is the most fun and scenic route! You can also take the Funicolar which can be found close by for 2,40€ and a less than 10 minute ride. From there, most hotel accommodations are just a short walk away. Luggage Transfer: Many hotels on the island offer luggage transfer services. Be sure to arrange this in advance and provide your ferry arrival time so your hotel can meet you at the dock to collect your bags. If you’re staying at Hotel Mamela, they will take care of this for you when you email to book your room.
Hotel
We have a room block at Hotel Mamela. They are very old school so you will need to book with the hotel directly by emailing info@hotelmamela.com. There are also plenty of other hotel and Airbnb options around the island! We’ve listed a few of our favorites on the FAQ page. We recommend staying near the Piazzetta, Capri’s central square, where most things are within walking distance.
