We met on Bumble — a modern love story that somehow felt like fate. Even though we were both set to find someone local, we matched despite living an hour apart. For the first two and a half years, we made that drive every week, trading off weekends and Wednesday nights just to be together. It wasn’t always easy, but it was always worth it. After years of long-distance drives and late-night goodbyes, we finally settled into our home in Haverhill. Then, in October 2024, on a beautiful day at Halibut State Park in Gloucester — the same place where we had one of our very first dates — Robby pulled off the surprise of a lifetime. He tricked me into thinking we were just taking Christmas card photos, but instead got down on one knee. While that was happening, our family and friends were secretly gathering to celebrate nearby, which was a surprise to both of us! When we got home, Robby had decorated our house, planned a romantic dinner, and made a video — just like he did when he first asked me to be his girlfriend. It was truly a full-circle moment.
