Unbeknownst to us, we were neighbors for years! With me on the main road, and Nick on the side street we did not see each other too often until we had the same gym class during my junior year and his senior year. After an introduction when I complimented him on an essay he wrote, we "danced" around each other for a couple of months until Nick asked me out at the Scituate Art Festival! From then on, we made lots of other fun memories together including beach trips, trail hikes, dog play dates, vacations, and game nights! We also supported each other through 2 high school graduations, 4 years of college, and currently veterinary school and a PhD program. On July 16, 2018, I suggested we go for a sunset walk at Scarborough State Beach, not knowing that Nick had envisioned a proposal at the very same spot on that same day. So we went at sunset, with two pups (Sadie and Levi) who both laid down so politely while Nick asked me to marry him! On March 13, 2020 we started to grow our family and welcomed our first dog -- Frodo a beagle from Tufts! Our original wedding date was in November 2020, and we had to postpone -- so we are extra excited to finally spend this day with you all!
