If your invitation says "and guest", then yes! If not, we are only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.
Although we love your children, due to space constraints we ask that only adults attend.

The ceremony at the church will begin at 2:00 pm. It is around a 30 minute drive to the reception location. The cocktail hour will begin at 5:00 pm, that will give everyone enough time to check into their rooms if they are staying at The Thayer the night of the wedding or hang out at the hotel until it begins.
The ceremony will be in Sacred Heart church, the reception will be held inside at The Thayer Hotel. We will have access to an outdoor area during cocktail hour and the reception for any pictures you'd like to take or to get some fresh air (weather permitting). Our after party will be held on the Zulu Rooftop bar two floors above the reception area (weather permitting).
There will not be a shuttle between the church and the reception. We have a block of rooms at The Thayer Hotel where the reception is being held.
Yes! There is a parking lot conveniently located across the street from the hotel. Please note that the hotel is situated on a steep hill, so for guests with mobility concerns, we recommend using the valet service or being dropped off at the hotel’s front entrance.
Yes! The cocktail hour and reception will have an open bar. During the after party, there will be a cash bar available.
Yes! If you go to the travel section of the website you will find the link for online booking and a discount code if you would like to call and make a reservation.

Any dietary requests can made to one of the waiters that comes around to your table and they will be more than happy to accommodate you!
No. While The Thayer Hotel is located on West Point, guest passes are not required to enter. There are two big gates before you enter onto the military base. The first gate you pass through there will be someone there to direct you, you can tell them you are going to a wedding at The Thayer Hotel and the venue will be the next right. If you would like to visit the actual base, you would have to go to the visitor center and get a guest pass for the day. The address to the visitors center will be on the travel page on our website if you'd like to visit.
