Minnehaha Falls
A 53-foot waterfall in the city! Pro Tip: There's an awesome restaurant next to the falls called Sea Salt. My favorite is the BBQ Shrimp, it's really New Orleans style.

Enjoy this rooftop bar and restaurant just a 5-minute walk from the AC hotel. We had drinks here with Marrisa, Joey, and Lauri when they visited and loved it.
Como Park Zoo & Conservatory
Like our engagement photos? All of our photos were taken at the Como Conservatory. Entrance is free! Pro tip: Meet our friend Chloe, the sloth, in the tropical encounters (part of the conservatory and also free.)
Matt's Bar and Grill
Janavi's FAVORITE burger ever (Tess eating a burger, crazy right?) and her favorite fries! Minneapolis is famous for the Jucy Lucy, a burger filled with cheese. Pro Tip: cash only
Minneapolis Institute of Art Parking
We love visiting the local art museum when we travel, and not to brag, but ours is pretty cool (and free.)
Alma
Our favorite restaurant, which also has an incredible cafe. Go in the morning for coffee and a breakfast sandwich or in the evening for a three-course meal. We celebrate most of our birthdays and anniversaries here - even wrote our vows in the cafe.
Minneapolis Sculpture Garden
What's with that cherry on the spoon I saw on postcards at the airport? You can find out here at the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden. Free and a beautiful walk outside. This is attached to the Walker, a cool art museum, and has Cardamom, which is a great place to grab a drink and some babaganush.
Historic Stone Arch Bridge
A beautiful and historic Minneapolis bridge that crosses the Mississippi River. It's a short and wonderful walk across, by the venue, and also near lots of shops and restaurants in the North Loop or on Main St.
Heights Theater
Our favorite movie theatre in Minneapolis has been open since 1926! They still play the organ before movies. If you get the opportunity to visit, it's a real treat.
