Our love story started exactly how all great romances do: with a poker crawl, a lucky win, and maybe a few too many drinks. Gianna had spent the day drinking at a poker crawl (and somehow even won), which led to a full night of bar-hopping. At Anchorage, her friends ran into Cole, someone Gianna had known since middle school, who happened to be there with his roommate, Geoff. While everyone was meeting, Gianna was in the bathroom… completely missing the introduction to the man she would one day marry. When she came back out, that’s when Cole finally introduced us for the first time. We all ended up at Charlie’s, where we actually got the chance to talk. Between laughs, great conversation, and some very bold “Mexican mouthwash” shots, we decided exchanging numbers was a good idea. (It definitely was.) The next morning, Geoff texted, and we just never stopped talking.
