What is the dress code?

Answer

– Dressy Casual – Basically: look cute, be comfortable and be ready for a good time. Our venue is a beautiful indoor/outdoor barn with open-air spaces. The ceremony will take place outside, while the reception will be inside the barn with plenty of airflow. In September, the average temperature in our area is around 85°F during the day, cooling off slightly after sunset. Since this will be an outdoor wedding, rain or shine, we recommend dressing comfortably for the weather!

Are kids and plus-ones invited?

We’re keeping our guest list limited to those named on the invitation. If your name isn’t listed, unfortunately we’re not able to extend additional invites. Need childcare? We may have a sitter available, just let us know!

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! We’ll be offering an open bar featuring beer, wine, and bubbly—but no liquor, so feel free to sip and celebrate with your favorites! There will be plenty of options to enjoy as we toast to this special day. Cheers!

We would never leave you hungry! We’ll have light bites during cocktail hour and a full dinner to follow. Come ready to eat and celebrate.

Do you have any lodging information?

Answer

We did not reserve a hotel block, so we encourage you to stay wherever is most convenient for you! For reference, the wedding will be in Sanford, NC, which is about a 30-minute drive from our home in Whispering Pines/Southern Pines.
