Is there parking at the Parish?

Answer

Yes. There is a small and limited parking lot directly connected to St. Bernard's. We ask that you leave these spaces for the wedding party, the handicapped, the elderly, and those with small children. For the rest, there is a large parking deck directly across State Street from the church (west campus parking deck). This is marked as a University of Akron parking deck, but St. Bernard's events have permission to use this deck.

How should I dress?

Answer

Our wedding is in a church, therefore cocktail attire and/or Sunday best are both acceptable. Keep in mind that St. Bernard's has no air conditioning!

Do I have a plus one?

Answer

Plus ones have been reserved for those who are engaged or married due to the size of both the Girogio and Beatty families.

ARE MY KIDS INVITED?

Answer

Yes! We tried our best to include everyone's kids, but we may have missed some here or there. Please bring them!

Where is the reception?

Answer

Due to the lack of air conditioning at St. Bernard's, we chose to have our reception in the parish hall of St. Sebastian's. The parking lot is located off South Hawkins. If this lot fills up, extended parking is directly across South Hawkins at the school gymnasium.
