Though Gianna doesn't remember it the same, Dan first saw her at a friend's sweet 16 party. Shortly thereafter, Dan and Gianna found themselves on a double date, but not with each other. By the end of the night, Dan and Gianna knew they were each on the wrong date and quickly began getting to know each other. Through the rest of high school and beginning of college, they kept in touch and spent time together with mutual friends when they were home from school. It wasn't until their sophomore year of college, winter break to be exact, that the two finally made it official. Their love story began on January 9th, 2015 as two college students. From doing long-distance, getting first jobs, getting one through grad school, traveling near and far together, supporting each other through whatever life has thrown their ways, they have always found their way back to one another. While the road to where they are now has had bumps, construction, and has even split into two, they came back together stronger than ever. They continue to learn and grow each day as individuals and a couple, and feel so grateful to continue their journey together towards marriage and all of the other highs and lows that life has to offer.
