Gianna and Brad met in October of 2013 on their first day at Frank, Rimerman + Co. while embarking on what would be their new, exciting, childhood-dream careers: tax accountants! After developing a friendship over several months, Brad decided to test the employee relationship HR policy by asking G on their first date. She graciously accepted and they agreed to meet for dinner in SF on April 5, 2014 (Brad was too excited to wait for the tax deadline to pass). After a lovely dinner at Tacolicious (which was decided upon moments after Brad’s arrival to G's apartment like any well-planned first date), they watched a horror movie (of which Brad had no idea that she hated, he was on fire that night). Despite Brad’s general lack of feminine insight, G still decided to continue the relationship and the rest is history!
After years of dating (each other), Brad decided to take the next step and purchased an engagement ring for Gianna in February of 2020. After his well-planned proposal was scuttled by a worldwide pandemic, Brad improvised and planned a surprise trip to Napa so G could take a well-earned getaway after a grueling tax season (being stuck indoors full-time with Brad). While enjoying a private wine tasting Seavey Vineyard in St. Helena, Brad built up the courage to ask his girlfriend to be his wife. G, while a bit in shock and confused from Brad’s barely intelligible “engagement speech”, graciously accepted and made the day the happiest ever! The two spent the rest of their trip luxuriating in wine country and planning the event that they are excited to share with you all.
