If you plan to come on Thursday, we'll be doing to the Architecture Tour in the evening at 730 for the sunset cruise! Please visit the website and purchase a ticket if you would like to join us. The more the merrier. We will also be heading to a blues bar for some live music afterwards. Otherwise, this is a fun option for Friday if you've never been to Chicago before.
While our hotel block is in the suburbs (Oak Brook), It is pretty easy to get to / from the city if you'd like to explore or prefer staying downtown. Driving takes about 30 minutes (no traffic) - 1 hour (with traffic). Ubers are typically $30 - $50. There is also a train stop (LaGrange on the BNSF Metra Line) right by the ceremony location if you'd like to take the train from Union Station.
