Flight

US-based Guests: Option 1 - Fly to Paris

Fly to Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport. There are plenty of direct flights from the US. From the airport you can take a direct high-speed train to Bordeaux (about 3hrs). Arriving at the Bordeaux train station you would connect to another train to Lamothe-Montravel (about 50 mins). You can also opt to rent a car to Chateau Destinee at this point (1h15mins). If you plan on travelling by train, we are planning to shuttle people from Lamothe-Montravel station to Chateau Destinee (7 mins by car) between 3pm and 5pm on Friday May 13th.

Flight

US-based Guests: Option 2 - Fly to Bordeaux

Fly to Bordeaux - There are no direct flight from the US, but you can find connecting flights from Madrid, Barcelona, or Amsterdam. For this option it is best to rent a car in Bordeaux and drive to Chateau Destinee (about 1h15mins).

You might decide to stay before and/or after in France or Europe. The options above will give you some idea on how to arrive at Chateau Destinee. Make it an amazing Eurotrip!

Train

Details for Train Travel

The France train company is the SNCF. On their website you can search for trains to arrive at the Chateau. You can take a train from Paris to Bordeaux, then either rent a car at the Bordeaux train station (which would be the best option if you are looking for flexibility) or take a connecting train to Lamothe-Montravel (this station is about 7 minutes from the Chateau by car).

Le plus simple pour arriver a Chateau Destinee est de prendre la voiture. Il y a aussi la possibilite d'arriver en train a Bordeaux et de prendre une connexion pour Lamothe-Montravel (50 mins de Bordeaux). Nous allons arranger une navette entre la station de train et le chateau (7 mins).

We have the castle 21 bedrooms available for 3 nights starting on Friday until Monday. We plan to have most if not all of our guests stay with us at the castle for amazing long weekend of fun. We plan to have reservation windows for our guests so everyone can have a chance to reserve a room at Chateau Destinee. We will send you all the info on how to reserve as soon as possible! *We have included cost estimates below* For US-Based Guests: Transportation: $1,000 to $1,600 per person (Flight, Train, and/or Car Rental) Accommodations onsite: $170 to $210 per night (3-night minimum) For Local Guests: Transportation: Depends where you are coming from. Onsite Accommodations: €142 to €172 per night (3-night minimum)
