The dress code for the evening is Garden Party Formal. The reception will take place largely outdoors, so plan accordingly. Colors are highly encouraged!

Transportation

Answer

Transportation is limited at the venue, so a shuttle will be provided from the Hyatt to the reception & back at the end of the evening. Pickup will begin at 4:45PM, with a second trip at 5:15PM. Drop off will begin at 10PM.

Befores & Afters

Please join us for our Welcome Party at Swamphead Brewery! We will be serving beer, wine, and some pizza party favorites! The Welcome Party will be on Friday, March 13th at 7:30 in the evening. Following our reception on Saturday, March 14th, we will be hanging at Arcade Bar in Downtown Gainesville across from the Hyatt!

We love your little ones! However, due to limited space, we hope you understand that our wedding and reception will be adults-only with the exception of those in our immediate family. Thank you for your understanding!

If you live within the state of Florida, we highly recommend driving into town! Gainesville is not a walkable city, so having a car will make things a lot easier during your stay If you do not live in Florida and plan on flying in, there are several options! Gainesville has a small airport, but it can be very costly to fly in and out of. Round trip tickets cost around $400-$500 per passenger We would recommend you consider flying into a surrounding city's larger airport and renting a car! Some options for this include: -Orlando International Airport (MCO) Round trip tickets cost between $130-$250 per passenger (non-stop flights) Car rental costs for a Friday, 3/13-Sunday, 3/15 rental are between $150-200 depending on the vehicle 1 hour and 54 minute drive to Gainesville -Jacksonville International Airport (JAX) Round trip tickets cost between $200-$350 per passenger (no non-stop flights available) Car rental costs for a Friday, 3/13-Sunday, 3/15 rental are between $175-200 depending on the vehicle 1 hour and 30 minute drive to Gainesville
