If you'd prefer to spend time in Rome before or after the wedding, it is only a 3 hour drive or 1.5 hour high speed train ride from Rome to Florence. If you're looking for a hotel, here are three hotels that were recommend in the area: Hotel Valdarno: 4 star hotel in Montevarchi. Walking distance to the train station and to bar/restaurants. Palazzo Vasarri: Luxury suites in the centre of Montevarchi. Walking distance to the train station and to bar/restaurants. Villa Sassolini: 4 star boutique hotel in Moncioni. A car or a taxi is needed to reach the hotel. Taxi's can be arranged by the hotel directly. You may also choose to stay in Florence opposed to saying in the countryside. We recommend you rent a car for the wedding day as the town only has a few taxis that only run during the day.
Shuttle

On the day of the wedding, there will be a shuttle service to pick up and drop off. Please note the time your name is listed on. If your name is not listed, please contact us asap. Please be ready at your pickup time and location, as we cannot make additional trips with the shuttle to the wedding. After the wedding, shuttles will depart the villa at midnight, 1am, and 2am and you can choose which one you’d prefer to return on, just tell the driver your name and the location you were picked up at.
