Things To Do

Columbus is full of things to do! We'll update this page as we figure out our final venues, but for now here's what we love around town.

Franklin Park Conservatory and Botanical Gardens

1777 East Broad Street, Columbus, OH 43203

A botanical garden in the heart of downtown Columbus (where Garret proposed). It's a really cool space to explore regardless of the weather!

Tupelo Honey

1678 West Lane Avenue, Upper Arlington, OH 43221

$$ - Our favorite place in Columbus for a good southern-fusion meal (they do weekend brunch, lunch, and dinner. You //have// to try the Brussels sprouts!) There's garage parking, or you can park in the open lot both across the street and on the road behind the building.

The Book Loft of German Village

631 South 3rd Street, Columbus, OH 43206

A whole house full of books? That the book nerds recommend!!?? Shocking.

Center of Science and Industry (COSI)

333 West Broad Street, Columbus, OH 43215

Explore the expanses of science and innovation! A fully interactive museum that both kids and adults will love.

Pierogi Mountain

105 North Grant Avenue, Columbus, OH 43215

$ - A downtown dive that has the BEST Pierogis you'll ever have. They have their own small parking lot, or you can opt for paid parking on the street.

Columbus Zoo and Aquarium

4850 West Powell Road, Powell, OH 43065

Voted best zoo in the country countless times over our lifetime, the Columbus Zoo is where Hannah spent her summers (and one of the first places she took Garret when she brought him home to meet her parents).

Cap City Fine Diner and Bar

1301 Stoneridge Drive, Gahanna, OH 43230

$$ - Close by elevated diner-vibes. They do weekend brunches, as well as lunch and dinner.

Thurber House

77 Jefferson Avenue, Columbus, OH 43215

The home of the famous comic strip artist James Thurber, which now hosts writing and creative classes for all ages. The original house is also a museum. Where Hannah first started writing novels (under some awesome tutilage).

Columbus Metropolitan Library

96 South Grant Avenue, Columbus, OH 43215

The central branch of the Columbus Library system (it's awesome and huge)!

Columbus Commons

Columbus, OH 43215

The Columbus Commons is a large open green space, where musicians, food trucks, artisans and more will gather. There's paid garage and street parking all around. It's a cool spot to explore downtown events at.

For all the days along the way
