$$ - Our favorite place in Columbus for a good southern-fusion meal (they do weekend brunch, lunch, and dinner. You //have// to try the Brussels sprouts!) There's garage parking, or you can park in the open lot both across the street and on the road behind the building.

$ - A downtown dive that has the BEST Pierogis you'll ever have. They have their own small parking lot, or you can opt for paid parking on the street.
Voted best zoo in the country countless times over our lifetime, the Columbus Zoo is where Hannah spent her summers (and one of the first places she took Garret when she brought him home to meet her parents).
$$ - Close by elevated diner-vibes. They do weekend brunches, as well as lunch and dinner.
The home of the famous comic strip artist James Thurber, which now hosts writing and creative classes for all ages. The original house is also a museum. Where Hannah first started writing novels (under some awesome tutilage).
The central branch of the Columbus Library system (it's awesome and huge)!
The Columbus Commons is a large open green space, where musicians, food trucks, artisans and more will gather. There's paid garage and street parking all around. It's a cool spot to explore downtown events at.
