FAQs

If you have any other questions, please feel free to reach out to us via text message or social media. <3
Question

Do I need to mail back my RSVP or can I do it online?

Answer

In hopes of reducing unnecessary printing and mailing, we are having all our guests RSVP online. Please hit the RSVP tab up top and search by guest name to respond. If you have any questions, we are always a message or call away. (:

Question

Can I bring a date or plus one?

Answer

Our hope is to keep our big day as intimate as possible and to do so, we are keeping it strictly by-invitation only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

Question

What should I do if I/we can't make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP as “Will Not Attend,” so we can plan accordingly.

Question

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

If there's anything we learned from living in Michigan, it's that you can't trust the weather. Early November isn't our coldest time but it can definitely be chilly. Temperature can vary between 35F to 70F. Safe to say that it might be wise to bring a coat.

Question

What's the dress code?

Answer

Our wedding will be semi-formal, black-tie optional. The ceremony will be held outdoors so we suggest bringing coats or cover-ups to stay warm while we're outside.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Earliest guest arrival time will be at 3:45PM with guest seating beginning at 4PM. We recommend that you arrive at least 30 minutes before the start of the ceremony, to make sure everyone is on time and we can get the party started as scheduled!

Question

Where should guests park? Is parking free?

Answer

There is plenty of parking in front of the venue and is free for all!

Question

Will there be a shuttle from the hotel to the venue?

Answer

There will be a shuttle service to the venue specifically for guests staying at Holiday Inn Express & Suites Grand Blanc. It will have limited seating and will be performing shuttle runs at 3:20PM and 4:00PM to the venue then back to the hotel at 10:45PM and 11:15PM so please plan (and drink) accordingly.

Question

Do you have a hotel block for guests? Where do you recommend I stay?

Answer

We are offering a hotel block discount for our guests at Holiday Inn Express & Suites Grand Blanc. Please visit the Travel page on our website for more info on hotels, flights, etc. Thank you!

Question

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

The only time we ask that you refrain from taking photos would be during our wedding ceremony. Otherwise, we encourage guests to post pictures on to their social media channels throughout our celebration and use our wedding hashtag #jamxghil so we can keep track of all of your pictures!

Question

I still have questions, what is the best way to contact you?

Answer

In case we missed any important info or you still have questions unanswered, please feel free to text/call us or message either of us via Jam's FB or Ghil's IG account.
