Where To Stay

We aren't concerned with everyone being in the same place hotel-wise, and want everyone in from out of town to stay where they like. There are thousands of hotels in Miami. Here are a few options that make sense.

Hotel

Arlo Wynwood Miami

2217 Northwest Miami Court, Miami, FL 33127

There are not a ton of options near the venue, but this is a decent one. It is in the middle of Wynwood, which is a good for walking around and seeing people/places/things. The French have saying that a good neighborhood requires a church, a school, and a grocery store. Wynwood has not a single one of any these. It basically materialized out of thin air in the last 10 years, and is covered in graffiti. It's a fantastic place for people watching, drinking and shopping.

Hotel

Albion Hotel

1650 James Avenue, Miami Beach, FL 33139

Great location in the middle of Lincoln Road. High traffic, tons of action, steps to the Beach. You used to be able to play Mario Kart in the lobby bar but that has most likely changed.

Hotel

The Standard Spa, Miami Beach

40 Island Avenue, Miami Beach, FL 33139

Internationally recognized hotel brand with a really great spa. It's on the bay and so is the pool. They give you these yellow and white striped towels which are great for Instragram.

Hotel

Broken Shaker at Freehand Miami

2727 Indian Creek Drive, Miami Beach, FL 33140

High end hostel with one of the best bars in the world downstairs.

Hotel

Mayfair House Hotel & Garden

3000 Florida Avenue, Miami, FL 33133

They just redid this place and it's crazy beautiful. Brand new hotel in probably the most beautiful/historic neighborhood in the city. Haven't actually stayed here but we walked through and accidentally crashed someone else's wedding when it first opened. Very cool place.
