The couple met in 2020 at Sparkman Wharf, where the chemistry between them was fuego but the queso they shared was not. Katie is a Cuban-American Speech-Language Pathologist and Raad is a Palestinian-American whom works in sports research as well as with Pulte Homes. In the blink of an eye, two years past and Raad surprised Katie by popping the question on the beach during Halloween weekend (her favorite holiday). On June 10th 2023 the couple were overjoyed to celebrate their Katib Iktab with immediate family and friends. Now all that remains is the American ceremony (and a legal marriage certificate).
