Antigua Guatemala
Antigua or La Antigua with Spanish Baroque architecture, has a combination of activities. People enjoy shopping at the markets, where they can purchase brightly colored textiles, pottery and more. Also, many of the old convents and monasteries are still in ruins but have been made safe for tours. A premiere touristic destination.
Panajachel
Many methods of transportation to experience like riding the popular tuc-tuc which are the three wheel taxis though the streets of Panachel. There is water transportation, the popular "lanchas" that are able to take you to other cities around the lake, such as: San Pedro La Laguna, San Marcos La Laguna among others.

Also, going to Mercado Central your able to experience exotic fruits and vegetables huddled on the tables, the hunt for a bargain from woven blouses, native huipiles, bracelets, purses, soft leather, candles, jewelry and other trinkets.
