Do you have a hotel block for guests? Where do you recommend I stay?
Answer
You can stay in the hotel we’ll be staying in! Just go to our link below “Carrillo Zavalaga Wedding Room Block”, and reserve your dates: https://reservations.travelclick.com/110393?groupID=2872467 You can also stay at an Airbnb near our venue in coconut grove or around where we live in Hollywood, Florida.

The dress code for our wedding is cocktail attire.

Where are the ceremony and the reception taking place?
Answer
The ceremony and the reception will both be at the same place. This is at the Mayfair at Coconut Grove hotel located at 3000 Florida Ave, Coconut Grove, FL 33133.

What will the weather be like this time of year?
Answer
The weather in south Florida in June is most likely to be over 89 degrees Fahrenheit. Stay cool! 😎

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?
Answer
The ceremony and reception will be indoors. With a possibility of an outdoor cocktail hour.

What happens after the ceremony?
Answer
After the ceremony, the bridal party will be taking pictures nearby for around an hour. Guests can head straight to the cocktail hour area where they will have finger foods and beverages.

What should I do if I can’t make it?
Answer
You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no”, so we can plan accordingly.

What time should I arrive?
Answer
We recommend that you arrive at least half hour before the start of the ceremony, to make sure everyone is on time and we can get the party started as scheduled! To my Peruvian friends, please try to arrive an hour before! 😉

Are kids welcome?
Answer
While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We will only have a few family kids that will take part of our wedding ceremony role. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

Can I bring a date?
Answer
We have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

When is the RSVP deadline? Do I need to mail back my RSVP or can I do it online?
Answer
The RSVP deadline will be on May 1st and you will be able to do it online. Formal invitation to follow.

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?
Answer
Yes, we encourage guests to post pictures on to their social media channels, our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #GabbyGotCarrilloedAway so we can keep track of all of your pictures!

Can I take pictures or use my phone during the ceremony?
Answer
While we will appreciate seeing your photos on social media from our reception or cocktail hour, we will be having an unplugged ceremony where we invite you to keep your eyes up, phones down and hearts open ♥️
