The pavillion at Riverscape MetroPark turns into an ice skating rink each winter and it's so much fun! Hot chocolate and snacks are sold at concessions.
Rike's was a high-end department store located in Downtown Dayton that opened in 1912 and closed in 1999. The vintage holiday window displays that were once in the Rike's storefront are set up inside Dayton's performing arts center - the Schuster Center, each holiday season for people to view for free.
If you're interested in checking out a museum, the Air Force Museum in Dayton is very popular! The museum has free admission and parking, so this is a nice affordable spot to spend the afternoon!
The Oregon District is full of fun bars and restaurants, as well as some small businesses to shop around. Our favorite spot in the Oregon District is Trolley Stop!
This is Brenna's favorite coffee shop, right across from Riverscape Metropark, where she worked as a musician for 7 years! During this time of year, this part of Dayton is always covered in Christmas lights that go along with music if you tune in to the radio station (station number advertised on nearby signs).
