We’re Getting Married!

As most of you know, we met in Tucson when we both were attending U of A! It was just fate when we chose the same sign language class. Zander will say it was love at first sight, Lauren would say she got to sit next to one hot college guy. It looks like it wasn’t our time because we remained friends but ultimately went seperate ways after college as most do. It was fate again that Zander worked up the nerves to reach out to me right before my big move to California.... he has great timing! Even being thousands of miles away from each other we facetimed daily and that’s where the feelings resurfaced. Long story short, Zander asked me to be his girlfriend on October 11, 2019 and the rest is history.

Zander’s stepdad Joric McLean has been in his life for 8 years now and looks to him as a father. Alongside his mom, Shelly McLean, they have supported him through the ups and downs that life has thrown at him. Joric has been there to give advice and share laughs, but most importantly be the best father figure someone could ask for. So it is with great honor, that Zander and Lauren will be taking his last name and becoming a McLean.
