What is the dress code for the wedding/reception?
Answer
Cocktail attire! Since it will be August, plan for warmer temperatures, but it doesn't usually get too hot in Deep Creek (hopefully I didn't just jinx it!). Ladies: think sundresses, cocktail dresses, maxi dresses. Guys: think slacks and sport jackets, or full suit.

Is there rideshare/Uber in Deep Creek?

There are little to no Ubers/Lyfts/taxi's in Deep Creek. We will be providing transportation on Saturday 8/17 to the wedding venue from the hotel noted in the Travel tab (Suites at Silvertree), as well as transportation to the hotel after the reception or to the after party and then back to selected hotel. If you are not planning to stay at the hotel, please make designated driver accommodations so everyone can get around safely!

If I drive to the wedding ceremony/reception, can I leave my car overnight?
Answer
Yes! There will be a parking area and cars can be left overnight if needed.

Will the wedding be indoors, or outdoors?
Answer
Our ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outdoors, weather permitting.

Am I allowed to bring my children?
Answer
We love your children! But unless specifically designated on your invitation and due to space restrictions, we are asking that you give yourself a night out to celebrate with us and leave the kiddos home. We appreciate your understanding! If you do want to travel with your children, we recommend bringing someone along who can stay with the kids the day of our wedding. You are more than welcome to bring the kids to the Welcome Party on Friday, August 16th! We would love to see them!

Do you have hotels reserved for the wedding weekend?
Answer
Yes! We have reserved the Suites at Silver Tree for our wedding block. There is a two-night minimum, due to location of our wedding and out-of-town travelling for everyone. Please note that you must call the hotel to make your reservation, and make sure to provide our names! No online reservations available for our event. There are also AirBnB's in the area if you wish to rent with a group. Area's to look at for AirBnB include Swanton MD, McHenry MD, and Deep Creek Lake rentals. But remember to secure transportation for your group if you do not stay at the reserved hotel.

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?
Answer
Our ceremony starts at 4:00 pm, so we ask that guests arrive by 3:40 pm to take their seats. Any guests staying at the reserved hotel, expect the shuttle pick up at 3:30 pm.

Any plus-one's will be specifically designated on your invitation. Thank you for understanding!
