Dress Code: Whimsical Garden Party We’re dreaming of a day filled with color! We invite you to wear attire that is bright, airy, and fun. Think floral prints, tea-length dresses, dressy jumpsuits, or light-colored suits and blazers. A Note on Footwear: To fully enjoy our "wildflower" setting, please keep in mind that there are grassy areas to navigate. We recommend block heels, wedges, or dressy flats so you don't sink into the garden!
While we’re hoping for sunshine, the party goes on rain or shine! If it looks like rain, we’ll move the ceremony to the Copper Roof Barn. We will send out a text and email to all guests if the location changes, so keep an eye on your phone on the morning of the wedding! A mass text and email will be sent to all guests.
The ceremony and reception are just 6 miles apart (about a 9-minute drive). The most convenient way to travel between them is by car.
Absolutely! We want the kids to have as much fun as the adults, so we’ve arranged for a kids' table and a bounce house at the reception. We just ask that parents keep a watchful eye on their kids while they play. Don't forget to pack some socks for the bounce house!
Daytime highs are usually in the low to mid-80s°F. September is generally sunny, with roughly 63% of the time featuring clear or partly cloudy skies. Humidity is noticeably lower than in July or August. While afternoon thunderstorms are always a possibility in Missouri, early September is usually drier compared to the spring and peak summer months, with an average of only a 20-30% chance of rain on any given day.
Because it is Labor Day weekend and Lebanon is near the Lake of the Ozarks and Bennett Springs area, traffic on I-44 and Highway 5 can be heavier than usual. We recommend giving yourself an extra 30 minutes of travel time to ensure you make it to the ceremony on time!
While Uber and Lyft do operate in Lebanon, they can be sparse, especially late at night.
