Wedding Update As many of you know, Nate and I had to postpone our wedding till next year due to the pandemic. After a few discussions with family, I really wanted to still keep our date. Nate and I decided that we would have a small wedding ceremony with close family and our bridal party at home. We are hoping next year that we are still able to have our big wedding in Texas. We have not set up a registry because we recently moved into a new home and are requesting cash to assist with furnishing and landscaping. Thank you all for your love and support during this time! We love you all! See you next year!
We met each other at Arrowhead mall inside Industrial Ride Shop where Nate was working at the time. My sister and I had gone there to find a pair of shoes so that we could go skate board in Tempe. I was a dummy and had worn sandals that day. Nate happened to be the one to help out with the sale. The entire time all I was trying to do was hit on Nate. But if you know Nate, he is always focused on the sale. haha. Later in the next few weeks, a group of friends invited me out to see a movie. I was running late as usual and made it just as the trailers had ended. After the movie, we all decided to get dinner at I-Hop. And low and be hold guess who was sitting in front of me at the table? I knew it was my second chance to redeem myself. haha. Over the next few weeks we were inseparable. We started dating on 08.08.16.
In April of 2019, our friends Bre and Connor were getting married in California. We drove out there that weekend with Stefan to attend. While we were out there we knew we had to stop out in LA to see Shane. We wanted to have lunch in Malibu at Neptune's Net because it was our favorite spot. (mostly because they serve mimosas) The day after the wedding, we drove out to LA and met up with Shane and drove out to Malibu for lunch. When we got to Neptune's Net, I noticed that Stefan and Nate weren't really eating much. They both said their stomachs hurt. (that was a usual thing, haha) After lunch, all I wanted to do was put my feet in the ocean. We had walked across the street to the beach, Shane wanted to take photos. Shane wanted Nate and I to stand by the cliff to take photos. I wanted to set down my purse but when Nate tapped me on my side and as I turned around, there he was! DOWN ON ONE KNEE! Yes, I ugly cried! Nate was so nervous, which made sense on why he wasn't eating. haha. It was such a beautiful surprise.
