We met in theatre in college. We quickly became the best of friends. From celebrating finals to driving around, the odds were we were together. It took years for us to start dating, but thankfully paul is the most wonderful man and waited patiently. Now here we are.

In 2012 I was expecting the arrival of my oldest son carter. I had a baby shower in ark city and Paul attended. My mom pulled me aside and said, “what are you doing?! That man is in love with you!!!” And I brushed it off..... but the wheels had started turning. After carter’s arrival, Paul and I started talking all day every day. He quickly became my safe space. Then our friends got married and we decided to go as dates. But we left as boyfriend and girlfriend. It was the most easy and natural transition of all time. Our love has continued to be effortless and unwavering ever since.
