FAQs

Just a few questions answered!
Question

Is the wedding outdoors or indoors?

Answer

The ceremony is planned to be outdoors and will be in a grassy area, so dress accordingly! The reception will be at an indoor barn. Part of it is concrete, but there’s a little country dirt in there too! Should there be inclement weather or the grass just be too wet, the ceremony and reception will be both be held at the indoor location!

Question

How formal is this shindig?

Answer

This is not a black tie event, by any means. We're getting married in the grass and partying in a barn! But, we aren't going full casual either. Dress up a little. Feel pretty. But leave the gowns and tuxes at home!

Question

Do you have a wedding hashtag?

Answer

We've been toying with a couple, but so far #gettingitdoneintwente21 seems to be the winner!

Question

In light of COVID-19, will there be any more changes?

Answer

At this point, we have already postponed once and are ready to get hitched! We will ensure proper safety precautions are in place. We would like our guests to have a negative COVID test prior to attending if not at least two weeks post-vaccination. We would REALLY prefer all our guests who are able (as we understand that those under 16 cannot) be vaccinated. We are constantly monitoring the situation for the health and safety of our guests and will update our website if anything changes.

Question

Will children be allowed?

Answer

Due to a number of circumstances, we are asking that only those listed on the invitation attend. We understand that this might not be ideal, but, especially with the current social circumstances, we have made the difficult decision to make the wedding adults only with exceptions of a few long time family friends of our teenage children. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and truly look forward to celebrating with our family and friends!
