Ryan and Haley met through mutual friends at a party in college. Both of them had significant others at the time so neither of them really thought anything of it. It wasn't long after that they both had a history class together. Although the class had over one hundred people in it, to Haley it felt like Ryan was the only one in the room (resulting in a grade that Haley wasn't proud of). Ryan and Haley were reintroduced, again through mutual friends, but this time they were both single. And the rest was history!

The night before Fathers Day, Ryan, Haley, and Haley's family went out to eat. After a seemingly normal supper, Ryan and Haley handed out Fathers day presents to Haleys dad and brother. In addition to the gift they had bought him together, Ryan handed Haleys dad an envelope with a hand written note inside. Haley, clueless, just thought it was really sweet. After reading the note, Haleys dad says to Ryan "Hell no", quickly followed up by "I'm just kidding, OF COURSE!!!". I 'm not sure how, but Haley was still clueless. Haley then takes a family selfie where Ryan is on one knee. You'd think this is where Haley realizes Ryan is proposing but nope. She then runs off to chase her nephew, Tyler. Now for the second attempt at family selfie, this time Ryan remains on one knee after Haley takes the picture. Haley turns around and now she realizes Ryan is PROPOSING! Mumbled by tears Haley told Ryan "YES" to forever with him!
