FAQs

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes! Our wedding is black tie optional — tuxedos and gowns are welcome, but a dark suit or cocktail dress is perfect too. Since the ceremony will be held in a Catholic church, we recommend bringing a light wrap, shawl, or jacket to cover shoulders during the service.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony will begin promptly at 2:00 PM. We kindly ask guests to arrive by 1:40 PM to allow time for parking, finding your seat, and settling in before the processional begins.

Question

I’m not Catholic — what should I expect at the ceremony?

Answer

No worries if you’re not Catholic! Our wedding will follow a traditional Catholic Mass, which includes prayers, readings, and some rituals. You’re welcome to stand, kneel, or sing along with the hymns, but only practicing Catholics receive Communion — if you don’t, you can stay seated or go up for a blessing instead. Mostly, just relax, take it all in, and enjoy celebrating with us!

Question

If I’m staying at the hotel, how will I get to the events

Answer

Shuttles will depart from the hotel at 12:30 PM, 1:00 PM, and 1:30 PM to take guests to the ceremony. After the ceremony, transportation will be provided from the church to the reception venue. At the end of the evening, return shuttles to the hotel will begin at 8:00 PM and continue through the end of the event at 10:00 PM, ensuring all guests are transported back. For those attending the after party, a shuttle will also be available from the hotel to the party, as well as transportation home at the end of the night.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! Both the ceremony and reception venues have parking available. We suggest arriving a little early to find a spot and get settled so you don’t miss any of the fun.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Absolutely! We love kids and can’t wait to celebrate with the whole family. Just be sure to RSVP for them on our website. If your little ones weren’t listed on the invitation but you’d like to bring them along, give us a heads-up so we can save them a seat (and a slice of cake!).

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation has a plus one, grab your favorite dance partner and come ready to celebrate! If not, but you’ve got someone special in mind, give Tim or Jess a shout — we’ll see if we can work some magic to fit them in.

Question

Do you accommodate dietary restrictions or food allergies?

Answer

Absolutely! If you have any allergies, dietary restrictions, or special requests, just let us know when you RSVP. We’ll make sure there’s something tasty and safe for you so you can fully enjoy the celebration!
