We were both Psychology majors (for a time) and had plenty of small conversations between classes. One day we were in the cafeteria with a group of friends. As time ticked by, our companions slowly trickled away leaving only the two of us. We talked and laughed for hours, about nothing in particular, until the cafeteria finally closed for the day. I'm sure neither of us got any work done, but since then, we've always been able to chat about anything and everything.
It was a chilly weekend in December, and we decided to indulge in a tasty meal from Ramen Bar and check out Phipp's Conservatory's "Winter Light Show." The vibrant florals inside were dazzling, and the sparkling lights turned the outdoor garden into a wonder land! As we chatted and walked through Schenley Park, he moved down to one knee and produced a ring from his pocket. Of course I screamed out "Yes!" and we were engaged!
Although we were looking forward to starting this new chapter of our lives together with our dearest family and friends, sometimes plans change. After careful consideration of potential risks from the COVID-19 pandemic, we have decided to postpone our wedding celebration. We will be married in a private ceremony on July 11, 2020 and want to share our joy with our friends and family in a casual, fun celebration in Summer 2021! In the meantime, we hope you are safe and well, and please feel free to reach out if you ever need a virtual coffee hang out, board game night, etc. We look forward to the day when we can safely celebrate with you all in person again! See you next summer!
