WE'RE GETTING MARRIED!

During a staff game night for our summer camp job, I walked up to Ali after dominating her team and smoothly said, "You know, you were my favorite target". To my surprise, it didn't work. She laughed it off and walked away. I did the next smart thing and "poked" her on facebook. And it worked! Ali poked me back. And so on. Fast-forward to December, things were going well. I decided to test my luck and ask Ali to make it official. And she said no. Ouch. To my surprise the very next night, Ali begged me to ask her again*. I was half expecting her to say no again. But to my delight, she said yes! Here we are now- eight years together this December- all thanks to my impressive dodgeball abilities. *Ali here: I don't remember any begging taking place, but I'll always be grateful he asked again!
