Both the ceremony and reception will be at the Crest Center and Pavillion in Asheville, North Carolina. You can find the address and directions on the Travel page.
The ceremony will be outdoors. Though it will be short, it might be a little chilly, so please dress appropriately. The rest of the evening will take place indoors.
Cocktail Attire. For those who are unfamiliar with what this means, here's an article: https://www.brides.com/cocktail-attire-wedding-4844364 I know a lot of people say, "we just want you to be comfortable," but as someone who has never been comfortable in a suit, I'll say I want you to look good and feel good.
I know you'll text me before looking at the FAQ for this info, but I figured I'd put it here anyways. They will be wearing Pistachio-ish green. Personally I think Pistachio is more of a spring color and the dresses that were selected look a little more fall/olive, but who's to say? (definitely not Andy Paese) Either way, feel free to wear any shade of green, we don't care. We are just putting it here so I can tell Matt Mulvihill "check the FAQs" when he inevitably asks me.
Yes, there will be a shuttle from the AC hotel to the venue and back. If you prefer to drive, there is space to park at the Crest Center. The venue is also close enough to Asheville that using uber/lyft is also a good option.
The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:00pm, so we recommend arriving 15-30 minutes early to allow time to settle in and enjoy some warm cider!
We have a hotel block reserved for guests - see our Travel page for details. There are also plenty of Airbnb options in the area, as well as many other hotels nearby.
We are planning for an adults-only celebration with the exception of immediate family. Thanks so much for understanding!
Average daytime temperatures in Asheville in October can be in the 60s-70s, but might drop to the 40s-50s in the evening. Get ready for beatiful fall colors in the mountains!
