Chelsea began working at Milton Hospital in May of 2013, where Gethro had been working as a public safety officer. As Chelsea became more regular to the night shift, she would have to have Gethro let her into her assigned unit because her badge wouldn't work. It became a regular routine for Chelsea to say "fix my badge!" during each interaction, and Gethro started to wonder who this girl could be. After Chelsea became more regular to the hospital and more comfortable, she reached out to Gethro on facebook on a whim. Facebook messenger lead to numbers being exchanged, which led to outings, then dates, and the rest is history. Halloween weekend of 2014, Gethro knew that he found the blessing he had been praying for. To this day, Gethro argues that October 31st, 2014 is when they became "official" but as always, the woman is always right, and the day celebrated as their anniversary is November 4th, 2014. Chelsea and Gethro moved in together in July of 2015 to their first apartment in Quincy. In June of 2016, they moved to Norwood and started to work on their careers together. Gethro had always dreamt of helping his community, and becoming a Boston Police officer and Chelsea had a passion to help people by becoming a nurse. After 2 years, the couple moved to Milton, with Chelsea's brother, while they worked on building their future and careers. In May of 2019, Chelsea and Gethro moved to Boston so that Gethro could focus on his dream of becoming a Boston Police officer. July 6th, 2022, Chelsea and Gethro had planned for a date night. Gethro had been complaining of stomach aches, and feeling under the weather for the past week and Chelsea considered picking up a shift and cancelling their date. After consulting Chelsea's friends, Gethro knew that he had to suck it up and go on with the date. Little did Chelsea know, this would be the date she'd never forget. They arrived to the restaurant where the host said "I'll seat you when the rest of the party arrives." Chelsea was shocked that her date night was turning into a group dinner, but she was more upset that her closest friends had been lying to her all day. Chelsea was excited to have a group dinner with all of her friends, but was obviously annoyed with being lied to. Moments later, Gethro stood up, made a speech devoting his love and admiration for Chelsea, and the waterworks flowed as Chelsea agreed to spend the rest of her life with Gethro. The restaurant roared with cheers and applauses and Chelsea and Gethro became fiancés.
