For our American guests we recommend flying into a major city (Paris, London, Dublin, Rome, Barcelona) and taking a few days to enjoy before taking a domestic EU flight from that city to Cagliari. We have found its a great way to bookend a trip and allow you to recover from jetlag. Some domestic budget airlines we recommend are RyanAir and Easyjet

Cagliari to Villasimuis
There are three different options for a transfer from Cagliari airport to Villasimius; taxi, bus, or shuttle. Taking a Cagliari airport taxi is quick and easy, as it takes just 1 hour to reach Villasimius, but it costs around €120. The cheaper transfer option from Cagliari airport to Villasimius is the ARST bus, which costs just €5.80, but takes 1 hour and 50 minutes as it isn’t direct and a change is required. The shuttle is something that your hotel can provide and will be similar to a taxi in ease of access. We are working to put together a list of hotels that offer airport shuttles.
