The Desert Botanical Garden is a beautiful place to see all the unique flowers and plants the Arizona desert has to offer. It’s located in Phoenix, just minutes from Scottsdale, and is such a fun way to experience the desert while you’re here for the wedding.
One of our absolute favorites! If you’re craving fresh seafood, this is the spot. Buck & Rider was recognized as one of the top 20 oyster bars in the U.S. and Canada, and everything from the oysters to the sushi is so good. We highly recommend checking it out while you’re in town!
Boutiques, art galleries, and lots of great restaurants.
If you’re craving authentic carne asada tacos, this spot is a must! It’s casual, quick, and so delicious—perfect for a laid-back meal. With multiple locations around the Valley and no reservations needed, it’s an easy (and tasty) stop while you’re in town.
Located in Old Town Scottsdale, AZ88 has the best espresso martinis in town (and honestly, all their martinis are amazing). We wouldn’t recommend their food, but the drinks are definitely top-notch. No need for a reservation—just let the host know you’re stopping by the bar for drinks!
This award-winning restaurant will transport you straight to Sonora, Mexico, through their incredible dishes. If you can snag a reservation, we highly recommend doing so—it’s definitely worth it!
From the same team behind Bacanora, Huarachis is a taqueria serving up amazing Sonoran tacos and delicious drinks. Reservations are recommended, but it’s easier to get a spot here than at Bacanora. Bonus: they’re also available on DoorDash if you want to enjoy their food from the comfort of your hotel!
This is Chris’s favorite bar! Step inside and you’ll feel like you’ve entered a train-themed adventure. Reservations are required, but it’s totally worth it. The experience lasts about 90 minutes, and while it’s a themed bar with no full menu, they do offer a few snacks. We highly recommend checking it out!
From the same team behind Platform 18, Undertown is a similar concept but with a Tiki bar theme—and it’s actually in the same building! This is one of Karla’s favorites, with tropical vibes and creative cocktails that make it a must-visit while you’re in town.
