How do I RSVP?

Answer

Once you receive your formal invitation, kindly return the enclosed RSVP card to the provided return address or RSVP via text with your name and number of attending guests at (760) 899-2887 (groom's number).

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will take place inside St. Edward the Confessor Catholic Church. The reception will primarily be held outdoors on the rooftop terrace of the Ole Hanson Beach Club.

What’s the weather like this time of year?

Answer

The average highs for Dana Point and San Clemente in September are around around 70°–75°F and the average low is approximately 60°F. Temperatures drop in the evening, especially with coastal breezes, so it's advisable to wear layers.

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is Summer Semi-Formal. Bright summer colors, soft pastels, tropical or colorful prints, and florals are encouraged. Gentlemen are encouraged to wear dress pants or slacks paired with collared shirts, while ladies may opt for flowy dresses, jumpsuits, or coordinated sets. Please avoid overly casual attire. Is transportation provided between venues?

Transportation will not be provided between venues, but if you need a ride or help coordinating travel, please reach out—we’ll be happy to help you figure something out!

Am I allowed to bring a plus-one?

Answer

We're prioritizing plus-ones for guests traveling from out of town since they may appreciate having extra support while here. That said, if you'd like to bring a guest, please feel free to text the groom at (760) 899-2887 and we will do our best to acommodate.

We kindly ask that this event be adults only. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to celebrating with you!

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

As our ceremony will take place in a church, we ask that no photos be taken during the mass in order to maintain a respectful atmosphere. Our professional photographer will capture all the special moments and you will have an opportunity to take photos after the ceremony.

Can I take photos during the reception?

Answer

Yes, the reception is a great time to take photos and videos. While our photographer will still be capturing moments throughout the evening, we’d love to see your shots too!

Will there be meal options for guests with dietary restrictions or allergies?

Answer

Yes. Additional information will be provided as the wedding approaches.

Yes. The bar will be open for five hours, beginning at cocktail hour.

Are gifts necessary?

Answer

No, we are simply grateful to have you join us in celebrating our wedding. However, should you wish to give a gift, cards and personal gifts may be sent to the address on the invitation, or you can view our registry on this site.

Are there hotel room blocks or travel recommendations?

Answer

At this time, we have not arranged hotel room blocks. Since most of our guests are local, many will be commuting from nearby. However, we’ve compiled a list of local accommodations and travel tips to assist those traveling from out of town. Please refer to the Travel tab for detailed information.
